Research on a sequence of four vegetable crops for processing in one year. 2: Effect of herbicides on weeds

English. In this research the effects on weeds of three herbicides on four crops were observed. During the first five years of the sequence, weed growth decreased progressively in broccoli and spinach cultures, while it remained almost constant in snap beans and cucumbers. Herbicides controlled weed growth quite well. Avena spp., Phalaris spp., Lolium temulentum L., Sinapis arvensis L. and Stellaria media Cyr. were present in broccoli and spinach cultures, while Amaranthus spp., Digitaria sanguinalis (L.) Scop., Echinochloa crus-galli (L.) P.B., Portulaca oleracea L. and Solanum nigrum L. were present in snap bean and cucumber cultures
Show more [+] Less [-]Italian. In questa ricerca e' stato osservato il comportamento, per ogni specie orticola inserita in un avvicendamento, di tre erbicidi sull'infestazione delle malerbe. In generale, nei cinque anni l'infestazione di malerbe e' diminuita notevolmente dal primo al quinto anno, soprattutto nelle colture di cavolo broccolo e spinacio, mentre e' rimasta presssoche' costante nelle colture di fagiolino e cetriolo. Gli erbicidi impiegati hanno controllato abbastanza bene le specie infestanti presenti; quelle piu' frequenti sono state: Avena spp., Phalaris spp., Lolium temulentum L., Sinapis arvensis L. e Stellaria media Cyr. nelle colture del cavolo broccolo e dello spinacio; Amaranthus spp., Digitaria sanguinalis (L.)
