The Agriculture Protection Board of Western Australia [crops, livestock, weeds, vertebrate pests, control, Western Australia]
1986
Dean, K.R. (Agriculture Protection Board of Western Australia, Perth)
The Board has three functions: preventing the introduction and spread of declared plants and animals; eradicating and controlling plants and animals already present; and research into the status, management and control of declared plants and animals. The powers of the Board are set out in the Agriculture and Related Resources Protection Act. The Board can 'declare' species of plant and animal, and place restrictions on the entry, keeping, movement, control and management of each species.
