1996
Huzera, J. (Cesky Statisticky Urad, Prague (Czech Republic)) | Komberec, S.
The price liberalization after 1991 has been reflected in a faster growth of input prices in agriculture. The dynamics of the producer market prices growth were considerable lower. The macroeconomic impact of this disproportion is obvious - a worsened income position of agricultural primary production. In this article, the differentiated impact of this disproportion on exploitation of intensification factors in the main agricultural crops is analyzed. In cereals an insufficient exploitation of intensification factors has been proved, in rape and sugar beet (partly also potatoes), certain conditions for reaching the required intensity of growing, necessary for the equal accession of our agriculture to EU, are already being created.
