The presented study deals with the method of determination of economically justified need of harvester threshers at an enterprise in connection with range of harvest and reductions in market production induced by indirect biological losses caused by the moment of the start and the time of harvest of different crops and varieties. It follows from results 6 that economically optimal number of harvester threshers at an enterprise and their annual utilization is significantly dependent on purchase costs, yields per hectare, and purchasing prices of the harvested production.
