Rape is one of the main oil and protein crops in Forest-Steppe and Forest zone of Ukraine. Rape growing technology developed at the Institute of cruciferous crops allows to obtain commercial seeds up to 35 centners per ha. Domestic varieties of spring and winter rapes correspond to the international standards, they can be used for the needs of food, textile, perfumery industries, in metallurgy, mechanical engineering.
