In 1993 grassland phytocoenose composition, its productivity and influence of 8 different fertilising treatments on botanical composition were studied in Ledavska valley at Goricko. Experiments were initiated on different soil types. Experiment in Skakovci (S) was established on fluvisol, in Cankova (C) on planosol, in Pertoca (Pe) on gleysol and in Rogasovci (R) on eutric soil. Fertilising treatments were: control (0), 140 kg/ha P2O5 (P), 190 kg/ha K2O (K), 150 kg/ha N (N, NP, NK, NPK). Botanical composition was determined on the control (0) treatment. On all 4 experimental sites different phytocenoses were found: (S) Cynosurion Tx 47, (C) Arrhenaterion Br.-Bl. 25, (Pe) Molinetalia W. Koch. 26, (R) Arrhenateretum medioeuropeum Br.-Bl. Oberd.52. Treatments (N) and (NPK) in (Pe) experimental site accelerated growth of grasses and limited growth of Carex sp. for the second cut. Dry matter yields at (S), (Pe) and (R) experimental sites for treatments (NPK), (NP), (NK) and (N) were significantly higher than for treatments (K), (P) and (0). The highest average yields of dry matter (DM) were achieved with treatment (NPK) at (Pe) (7.73 t/ha) and (R) (7.63 t/ha) experimental sites.
