Malignant fever on cattle (MCF) appeared sporadically with greater frequency in the spring. In some regions enhanced frequency was observed also in the autumn, while in the regions where the farm animals were reared the whole year in cattle sheds the disease appeared all the year round. It has been accepted that infection of cattle occurs not only in cattle-shed conditions and only in the period of lambbearing. It is supposed that in the transfer of infection most probably take part also sheep parasites. The number and ways of goat rearing is not in correlation with MCF frequency.
