Regeneration of Pterygota alata and Khaya anthoteca with stumps and cuttings

Pterygota alata and Khaya anthoteca are exotic species. They have good prospects to be planted in a largae scale in Indonesia. Therefore, research on the vegetative propagation (stumps and cuttings) and the Rootone F application was aimed to increase the survival percentage significantly. The experiment with Pterygota alata used a 2 x 4 factorial with 3 replications in randomized design, but with Khaya anthoteca no statistical approach was used. The dosage level of Rootone F in this experiment ranged from 0-150 mg. However, Rootone F in this experiment did not affect the survival percentage of stem cuttings and stumps of Pterygota alata or stem cuttings and orthotropic cuttings of Khaya anthoteca
