Methods of agricultural land evaluation in the Czech Republic

This paper is related to the history and actual situation of land evaluation. It is possible to use two evaluation systems - directly calculated land price with the help of cost-profit relations for bonity soil-ecological units (BPEJ), and indirectly calculated price using preparatory point clasiffication systems and secondary evaluation of the point. It is recommended to use the point clasiffication system on the base of cost-profit relations and further precision for the relevant piece of land by the coefficient system. Relations to the point system should be stable for a long time period. Evaluation of one point should be based on cost-profit relations, land market information or result of enterprise efficiency.
