German. Rindenbewohnende Arten gehoeren in Deutschland zu der am staerksten durch das Wirken des Menschen beeintraechtigten oekologischen Gruppe der Moose. Im niedersaechsischen Tiefland spielt als Traegerbaum fuer stark gefaehrdete Arten gegenwaertig die Buche eine bedeutende Rolle. Veraenderungen der Epiphytenflora werden aufgezeigt und Hinweise fuer den Artenschutz gegeben.
