Research on some aspects of Sumatra elephant (Elephas sumatraensis Temm.) ecology, are aimed to obtain data and information about habitat, population, moving area and other ecological aspect in secondary forest complex, Leuser Mountain National Park. The data is hoped as base on elephant habitat and population management in Leuser Mountain National Park. Quarted method analyzed by Important Value Index was used for vegetation habitat. Concentration and contact methods were used for elephant and other wild animals method (1975) was used for bird species. The research results showed that secondary forest complex besides as local elephant habitat also as elephants moving area of Aceh Special Regency. Diversity of flora on elephant habitat is 97 species, and about 15 percent are feeds for elephant. Six species are the most palatable for elephant, one of it is Teysmania allifrons, classified as dangered species. Diversity of other wild animals on elephant habitat are 92 species, contents of Mammalia 21 species, Aves 65 species and Reptiles 6 species
