Effect of lime and rock-phosphate fertilizer application on nutrient status on red-yellow podzolic soil under cassava grown
1995
Masganti
The research aims to evaluate the change of soil chemical properties of red-yellow podzolic soil under cassava grown. The experiment used a split plot design with three replications. The main plots were: 0, 1.000 and 2.000 kgs CaO/ha. The subplots were: 30, 60 and 90 kgs P2O5/by using rock-phosphate. One cassava stick per hill was maintained at 80 x 100 cm spacing in 6 x 8 m plot size. The results showed that lime (CaO) and its interaction were significantly effect on pH, P, Al, Ca and Mg status of red-yellow podzolic soil while rock-phosphate was significantly effect on P, Al and Ca status of red-yellow podzolic soil
