Since the review study in september 1990 the political situation in Cambodia has undergone significant changes with the formation of the supreme national council and prospects for a comprehensive settlement while immediate benefits and impacts can be expected to be significant it is envisaged that another ten years of commitment will be needed before these efforts can be consolided and sustained
