Kbal Koh vegetable research station is a four hectare facility located 16 km east of Phnom Penh. It was created in 1985 by the Department of Agronomy with the cooperation of CWS. The goals of the station include rsearch in vegetable production, seed production and training for extension workers. The two week training course with housing and food at the station were sponsored by some NGOs that had their activities in rural area to improve people nutrition
