The study investigates some socioeconomic and personal characteristics of adopters and non-adopters of aquaculture innovation in eighty-three villages of Dedza, Ntcheu and Lilongwe Districts of the Lilongwe Agricultural Development Devision (LADD). Offers explanations as to how farmers' age disparity; levels of education; contacts with extension agents; marital status; ethnic grouping; periods of residence; religious affiliation; and leadership responsibilities contributes to the adoption/non-adoption of aquaculture innovation.
