Use of thiamphenicol in rearing of poultry. Pharmacokinetics and residuals

English. The study has concerned 192 chickens of both sexes, of Hubbard origin, of 40 days of age at the beginning of the experiment. These chickens, divided in 32 groups of 6 subject each, have been subjected to 3 treatments with different thiamphenicol: g 0.4/l, g 0.2/l, g 0.1/l of water of beverage. The rapidity of diffusion of thiamphenicol in plasma and in the tissues has been studied, through a series of analyses and of programmed destructions of the subjects, besides the period of elimination of thiamphenicol from the organism. This has been lower than 56 hours since the interruption for the treatment at the highest dosage
Show more [+] Less [-]Italian. Lo studio ha riguardato 192 polli di entrambi i sessi, di ceppo Hubbard, di 40 giorni di eta' all'inizio della prova. Questi, divisi in 32 gruppi di 6 soggetti ciascuno, sono stati sottoposti a 3 diversi trattamenti con tiamfenicolo: g 0.4/l, g 0.2/l, g 0.1/l di acqua di bevanda. Del tiamfenicolo, attraverso una serie di analisi e di abbattimenti programmati dei soggetti, si e' studiata la rapidita' di diffusione nel plasma e nei tessuti, oltre che il tempo di eliminazione dall'organismo dello stesso. Questo, e' stato inferiore alle 56 ore dalla sospensione per il trattamento a piu' alto dosaggio
