"Beskid", a new Polish, summer fruiting cultivar of raspberry, was compared with two standards "Malling Promise" and "Canby". The experiment was carried out in three experimental stations (South-East, South and Central Poland). "Beskid" berries ripen late, outyield standard cultivars and produce bigger fruit than either standard. Canes are numerous, tall and nearly spineless
