The costs connected with corrosion losses which are borne by international and Polish national economy are estimated in the paper. Also the results of investigations of physical and mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the three domestic ecological lacquer sets are presented. In the end there are given some indications for the producers of agricultural machines how to use the investigated lacquer products in the anticorrosion protection
