[Economic valuation of the Biodiversity]

Biodiversity is not only a source of life but can also contribute to the enhancement of prosperity and welfare if used in a rational and sustainable way. For this reason it is neccesary to make an integrated evaluation of the contribution of the national biodiversity to the national economy. Further more the agricultural and the forestry sectors in relation to biodiversity are discussed. With regard to the forestry sector the regeneration versus the degeneration and depreciation of the forest as a natural resource is looked into. Finally some recommendations are given with regard to the policy and the planned action
