Exploitation of sawmill rest wood

In order to be able to completely and effectively exploit sawmill restwood one must be well acquainted with residues' quantities, types, degradation degrees and the origins. The estimates as to the quantity of residues is problematical due to inaccurate data from processing plants. The type and form of residues is very heterogeneous because different material is sawn in saw mills. The exploitation of coniferous wood waste has been relatively well solved by using them in reproduction processes, while on the other hand restwood of deciduous trees and tree bark is used almost exclusively as fuel material. The article offers alternative possibilities of uses of sawnwood residues
