[Problem of scientific substantiation of the theory of forming meat productivity of cattle in ontogeny]

At the Institute of Animal Science in the course of last 20-25 years the complex studies are carried out aimed at scientific substantiation and developing a theory of forming meat productivity of bull-calves of domestic breeds in ontogeny. The complex studies are carried out and the probems as follows are studied: main regularities of growing, forming meat productivity of young animals (bull-calves) of cattle, properties and biological value of beef in nine dairy, combined and meat Ukraine's breeds (Black-Spotted, Symenthal, Red-Steppe, Red-Spotted Dairy, Lebedyn, Angler, Grey Ukrainian, Volyn, Ukrainian dairy). Physiological, biochemical and zootechnical substantiation of the regularities revealed is given as a scientific concept that is an important step on the way for the developing the theory of forming meat productivity of cattle in ontogeny
