Formation of protein complex during grain wheat maturation

The biosynthesis of protein complex in the winter wheat grain was studied in the varieties Livia, Sana, Blava and Vlada, which were growing in exact field experiments throughout the period of 1992 to 1995. The intensive protein biosynthesis was determined during all period after flowering which continued to the last phases of grain formation. The results proved that accumulation of protein was statistically significantly influenced by a variety and agroclimatic conditions of a year. During grain formation the changes in mutual relationship in the content of protein fraction were determined. Albumins and globulins were preferencially synthesised in the first stages of grain formation later on storage proteins.
