[Monocrotophos residue on mungbean grain]

Field experiment was conducted at MORIF experimental farm in Maros during dry season 1994. Residue analysis was done at chemical lab, MIPA UNHAS. The experiment consist of 5 times of insecticide application: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 weeks after planting respectively. Mungbean were sprayed by monocrotophos at dosage 150 g a.i. each ha at 500 l spray volume. The results of experiment showed that, monocrotophos residue at 1 week after planting spray until 9 weeks after planting spray tend to increase. Monocrotophos residue at 1 week after planting spray was 0.31 ppm, while at 9 weeks after planting spray, 1 week before harvest was 0.83 ppm in mungbean grain
