Assessment of loans granted to family farms

The purpose of this investigations was to evaluate the terms of granting the loans to farmers, guarantees and repayments under free market economy conditions. The studies were established in the Cooperative Bank in Szprotawa in 1992-95. Chronological and comprehensive analysis of documents was done using a method of vertical economic analysis. The amounts granted per ha arable land and per farm were analysed and the dynamics since 1992 has been shown. Overdue loans, receivables with respect to farm size, shortage of liquidity and loan efficiency indexes are presented in the paper
