This report covers the period September 1st, 1989 to August 31st, 1990. It seeks to be comprehensive in its coverage of CARDI's work in Grenada, without being exhaustive. It is intended more for the general reader than for the technical specialist. Activities described fall under six main areas: Tree Crops; Vegetables; Root Crops; Seed Production; Farm Development and; Technical Assistance and Training. The activities cover pests and disease control in cocoa, control of nutmeg wilt, soursop production and validation of a tech-pack for paw-paw. Onion, carrot, tannia and seed production are discussed. Irrigation, promotion of hot peppers and small ruminant development are included.
