CARDI Belize Unit annual report September 1986 - August 1987 engaged in research and trials mainly on the following crops: oilseed crops which were soybean, sesame and mustard; food legumes which consisted of peanut, pigeon pea and chickpea; cereal. CARDI managed CARICOM Farms Ltd. and technical work was also done under crop and livestock production. Rice, soybean, cowpea and pigeon pea were planted and the livestock that was maintained is the Brahma cattle herd.
