Direct sale of agricultural products in Austria

The article presents questions connected with direct sale of agricultural products on the example of Austria farms. Austria has been the member of the European Union since 1995 and its agriculture shows many similarities to Polish conditions: natural, demographic and agrarian. Direct sale is justified in macroeconomic terms, as an alternative to the protectionist policy of the state. It also expands the material basis of farms and is an alternative source of income as well as a new professional experience for farmers. Eight forms of direct sale have a practical meaning in Austria
