The authors underline the role of adjuvants in plant protection - they improve droplet adhesion and wetting effect of the target. Adjuvants can also enhance the penetration and uptake of active ingredient into the plants. Today adjuvants were used mainly as the additives for postemergence herbicide. The use of adjuvants can improve the effect of pesticide applications, decrease the costs of plant protection and lessen environmental impact of pesticides
