Comparison of two earliness evaluation criteria of tomato cultured from grafted transplants

The grafting of tomato on a rootstock made it possible to increase the early yield. Various reactions of cultivars were observed. The highest increase of early yield was noted in cv. Fontana F1. The Reinhold earliness number was the criterion which slightly differentiated the tested cultivars. The grafted plants were characterized by a higher Reinhold number so their yielding zenith took place later
