[Research on cultivation technology of groundnut in irrigated lowland after rice]

English. During PELITA V, the development of groundnut harvested area in Indonesia was still low i.e. 602.000 hectares in 1988 became 626.000 hectares in 1993. The possibilities of groundnut to be expanded to the irrigated lowland through the rice - rice - secondary crop cropping pattern is good enough since cultural practices of groundnut in the past were not done well by the farmers. Research on irrigated lowland indicated that the highest yield can be obtained from an improved technology consisted of optimal plant population (240,000 plants/ha); irrigation at the vegetative to flowering stage, and seed filling period. Rhizobium inoculation at the Kuningan Experiment field (pH 5.7, low NPK content, C/N ratio 1:20), could not increase groundnut yield, but at another field of Kuningan with pH 6.0, low NPK content and C/N ratio 13), rhizobium inoculation could increase yield. The highest dry pod yield at Batang and Kuningan was achieved using 67.5 kg N/ha with the yield of 1.468 t/ha and 1.359 t/ha respectively. Technology package E consisted of land preparation + drainage system + 150 kg urea, 150 kg TSP, 150 kg KCl/ha + rice straw mulching 5/ha - irrigation + hand weeding + pest/disease control yielded 2.589 t/ha at Batang. While at Kuningan, the highest yield (3,276 t/ha dry pod) was achieved from the technology package C consisted of land preparation + drainage system + fertilized with 50 kg Urea + 100 kg KCl/ha + rice straw mulching 5 t/ha + irrigation + hand weeding + pest/disease control measures

Indonesian. Perkembangan luas panen kacang tanah di Indonesia pada Pelita V termasuk rendah, tahun 1988 adalah 602.000 ha dan tahun 1993 hanya mencapai 626.000 ha. Peluang perluasan tanaman kacang tanah melalui penerapan pola tanam padi-padi-palawija di lahan sawah irigasi cukup besar. Teknik budidaya yang ada di tingkat petani masih rendah, hal ini terlihat dari hasil rata-rata yang masih rendah. Paket teknik budidaya kacang tanah yang dikeluarkan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Pertanian Tanaman Pangan masih perlu perbaikan dan penyempurnaan, terutama untuk pertanaman setelah padi sawah. Dari beberapa penelitian komponen teknologi, hasil polong kering tertinggi dicapai pada populasi 240.000 tanaman/ha dengan pemberian air irigasi pada fase vegetatif sampai berbunga dan pada fase pengisian biji. Inokulasi Rhizobium di Kebun Percobaan Kuningan (pH 5,7, kadar N, P, K rendah dan C/N ratio 10) tidak meningkatkan hasil polong kering, sedangkan di Kebun Percobaan Kuningan (pH 6, kadar NPK rendah dan C/N ratio 13) inokulasi Rhizobium dapat meningkatkan hasil polong kering. Hasil polong kering tertinggi di KP Batang dan KP Kuningan masing-masing dicapai pada pemupukan 67,5 kg N/ha dengan hasil 1,468 t/ha dan 1,359 t/ha polong kering. Paket teknologi E (Pengolahan tanah sempurna + drainase + 150 kg Urea/ha + 150 kg TSP/ha + 150 KCl/ha + mulsa jerami 5 t/ha + pengairan + penyiangan + pengendalian hama dan penyakit) memperoleh hasil polong tertinggi sebesar 2,589 t/ha di KP Batang sedangkan di KP Kuningan hasil polong kering tertinggi sebesar 3,276 t/ha dicapai oleh paket teknologi C (pengolahan tanah tak sempurna + drainase + 50 kg Urea/ha + 100 kg KCl/ha + mulsa jerami 5t/ha + pengairan + penyiangan + pengendalian hama dan penyakit)
