Seed Orchards or Cuttings: Which is the best?

Seed orchards and clonal forestry are both being used as deployment strategies for improved eucalypts around the world. In this paper we review the genetic, biological and economic issues which affect the benefits of both schemes over time, and present general guidelines for the design of appropriate deployment strategies in tropical and temperate regions.
