Estimating the demand intensity for spare parts to milking machines with milk pipeline

In tests of 15 milking machines with pipeline one year along the demand of spare parts was estimated to replace the impaired parts and to eliminate the failures in milking equipment. The coefficients characterizing the stream of occurred break-downs, time of their repairs, number of failures in successive months in the year and an average monthly demand of spare parts were determined. The intensity of spare part demand varied within the year. Total coefficient of break-downs in milking machines was 0.1105/h, while for particular failure complexity groups the coefficients varied from 0.0016/h to 0.0936/h
