A great attention is devoted, nowadays, to questions related to purpose biomass production and utilization and to cultivation of crops grown for energy. Renewable biomass may cover from 10 to 20 % of world energy needs in future, covering thus, partially, depleted resources of non-renewable fossil fuels. A great number of plant species can be used for energy biomass production. Our contribution is aimed at cultivation of selected plants as China giant reed, reed canary grass, giant knotweed and sorghum.
