Development of forest stands and increment dynamics of wooden plants in the nature reserve Babiccino udoli [Czech Republic]

Thirty years ago 10 control plots were established on the typological oak-beech plots in the nature reservee Babiccino udoli, and development of the stand as well as increment dynamics of individual wooden species were observed. During these 30 years of observation the representation of coniferous species (fir and spruce) has reduced to the benefit of deciduous ones. The highest values in the increment dynamics were reached at Douglas fir and larch, among deciduous species in oak, ash and English oak.
