The effect of the variability of indicators of milk efficiency on their interrelationship and on the heritability in dairy cows of Bohemian Spotted cattle

The objective was to quantify the relationships between the main milk components and heritability. The dairy cows were divided into 3 groups based on milk production, content of proteins and fat as follows: milk production: less than 3800 kg (Ml), 3800-4300 kg (M2), 4300kg and more (M3) protein content: less than 3.2 % (Bl), 3.2 %-3.4 % (B2), 3.4 % and more (B3) fat content: less than 3.8 % (T1), 3.8 %-4.3 % (T2), 4.3 % and more (T3). Under various levels of milk production in one lactation, the highest relationship was that between the content of the component and its total production (protein content and its production +0.860, fat content and its production +0.932) on the M2 level. The relationship between the protein and fat content in the milk was the highest (+0.420) on the M3 level and the lowest on the M1 level (-0.040). The correlation coefficients were higher if the level of production was higher.
