Energetic effectiveness of various soil cultivation systems

Direct sowing of spring crops, i.e. horse bean and barley, ensures higher effectiveness of energetic input (expenditure) than traditional cultivation methods or cultivation without ploughing independent of the soil type. The same situation takes place with winter wheat on heavy and medium soils. Whereas, on the medium heavy soil cultivation without ploughing is equally effective; and on the light soil all the cultivation systems compared yield energetic effects that are not significantly differentiated
