The effects of air temperature and amaranth seed moisture content on the efficiency of their no-pressure expanding were studied. The process of expanding took place during pneumatic transport of seeds in hot air stream along the straight horizontal pipeline. Obtained results showed that the air temperature affected expanding efficiency considerably stronger than the seed moisture content did
