The paper discusses biological aspects of the environment pollution by organometallic compounds caused by the industrial and agricultural development and increased application of pesticides. The organic derivatives of lead and tin are discussed as the most often met polluting agents well as their influence on biological objects. The possible mechanism of the interaction between organometallic compounds and these objects and/or their substructures was proposed
