Influence of previous crop on spring barley yields

In the years 1990-92 field experiments on the residual effects of 2 faba bean types and oats and different fertilizer rates on spring barley yields were carried out. The site after faba bean of Tibo cultivar was found to be the best, as the yield components of barley were better than after oats, and besides, the grain yield and total protein contents were better by 21 percent and 36 percent, respectively. The most efficient N rates on the site after faba bean were 30 kg/ha for Dino and 90 kg/ha for Tibo cultivar and oats
