Impact of the prices on sale of agricultural machines

Relationship between the price of a farm machine, in terms of equivalent quantity of agricultural goods, and the extent of that machine sale, was investigated. The studies based on single variable regression analysis were carried out in 1980-88 on an example of combine harvester. The price relation of farm machine versus agricultural products strongly affected the sale of the machine. The higher was such a price, the lower a demand for the machine. However, the demand intensity is influenced also by some other factors which should not be neglected; their significance should be determined for prognostic purposes
