Innovations in rural households of Legnica voivodeship

The purpose of the study was to present the innovations introduced to rural households and the impact of communications systems on farmers' decisions. The study comprised 150 rural households. The innovations are summarised in tables. The majority of innovations were connected with rational nutrition (28.8 percent), ecology on farms and in households (17.6 percent), purchase of equipment and appliances (15.2 percent), food storage and preservatives (11.5 percent), redecorated interior (10.4 percent), and finally economics and organisation of households. The impact of communications system varied, but the innovations were primarily effected by TV, neighbours and acquaintances and also by specialists of rural women's club
