Searching for the new features at potential penchants of bee colonies for putting in a swarming mood

The purpose of research was seraching for the features, that in the beginning of production season differentiate those colonies, which later on put in a swarming mood, from colonies that do not reveal this kind of a mood for whole season. The obtained results indicate that those colonies, which in the beginning of production season are characterized by significant strenght and penchant for breeding a great number of brood, put in a swarming mood. In comparison with control colonies, it was also affirmed that in such colonies there is essentially bigger number of queen cell cups and correlation between the area of drone brood and a number of queen cell cups
