Efficacy of low herbicide doses applied in spring barley

Experiments were carried out in 1994-96 on a good rye-soil complex. Three herbicides were applied in spring barley: Chwastox D (MCPA + dicamba), Lentagran 50 WP (pyridate), Granstar 75 WG (tibenuron metyl) in full recommended doses, half doses and half doses after harrowing. The reduction of Chwastox D and Lentagran 50 WP doses had a weak influence on their efficacy neither the spring barley yield. If Granstar 75 WG was applied in a half of recommended doses its weed control efficacy decreased and the grain yield was significantly lower
