Body composition of Polish Lowland Lambs under the conditions of limiting the level of protein during fattening period

The level of crude protein in net body weight was not dependent on portion content in the ingested feed ration and amounted to about 18 percent. Any differences in meat content (55-58 percent), bones (20 percent) and connective tissue (7.5-7.9 percent) in carcass and in composition of net (empty) body weight gain, were not found, mainly due to considerable differences within groups.
