English. In Campania the silver fir tree is spread on all the main mountains of the region, although in a very sporadic manner. The most important fir population, from an ecological and forestal point of view, is situated on mount Motola, in Vallo di Diano. From the historical investigations realized by other AA, also in this case, a remarkable reduction, in the last century, has resulted of the areas where the fir grows. Neverthless, the vitality of some fir forests induced to think about a possible restart of the species, but only in the case of a naturalistic forestry more careful to the needs of the species associated to beech. Show more [+] Less [-]Italian. Nella regione Campania l'abete e' presente su tutti i principali monti della regione, ma in maniera assai sporadica. Il popolamento piu' importante dal punto di vista ecologico e selvicolturale e' situato sul M. Motola, nella zona del Vallo di Diano. Dalle indagini storiche effettuate da altri AA e' emerso, anche in questo caso, una notevole riduzione delle aree di vegetazione della specie nell'ultimo secolo. Nonostante cio', la vitalita' di alcune abetine induce a pensare in una possibile ripresa della specie, ma solamente nel caso di una selvicoltura naturalistica piu' attenta alle esigenze delle specie associate al faggio. Infine, l'Autore, sulla scorta di osservazioni effettuate nell'intera regione, ipotizza una minore diffusione del faggio, contrastato dal tasso e dall'agrifoglio
