In Lebanon, most operators who are trying to innovate in agriculture are blocked by a lack of qualified people to deal with the introduction of new techniques and new crops. Suggestions are given so as Universities adapt their programs in order to fulfil these gaps. They should prepare their students by giving them not only theoretical courses, but also by giving them the opportunity to practice these theories by following training in the field eventually for one full season.
