Changes in economic situation of farms as a consequence of their participation in the dairy development project

The aim of the paper was to present changes taking place on 13 farms located within Turosl community, north-east of Poland and covered by Dairy Development Project. Over the years 1991-95 the Project led to the following modifications: area of agricultural lands increased by 20 percent, share of permanent grassland extended, milk production in total and per cow reached respectively 167 percent and 32 percent of the previous level
