System of computer-aided programmes to evaluate soil and plant supply with nutrients

A system of computer-aided programmes to support sustainable fertilization advisory was described in the paper. The studies on sample parts of plants, conducted in co-operation with Local Agrochemical Station in the years 1987-91 on 400 production fields, proved that fertilization in Poland had been highly unbalanced. Three generations of the NAW programme to evaluate fertilization with macronutrients have been prepared at IUNG-Pulawy, while Branch in Wroclaw made the contribution to work out programmes: SoilFert, MicroZal and DiagRos
