Developmental cadence of Matricaria maritima subsp.inodora (L.) in winter triticale

The results of investigations on developmental stages of Matricaria maritima subsp. inodora in winter triticale plantations during 1997-00 are presented. There were applied two methods of presowing cultivation of soil (plough and cultivator) and two levels of nitrogen (50 and 150 kg/ha). Replacement of ploughing by cultivating resulted in increasing of weeds infestation by the species, higher intensity of seeds germination and number of plants reaching full vegetative growth, ripening and seed shattering
