Matching of a combine harvester to the farm needs should be based on determination of its available technical performance. Next, from among the machines meeting these requirements, a definite type of combine harvester should be selected as well as the company offering it. Paper proposed a method that enables - on the basis of technical-economic parameters - to select a proper combine harvester from the group of comparable technical characteritics and to make decision on its choice and purchase
